This product is manufactured for use in the ISO 6330 tests. The powder is free from fluorescent brightening agent and the formulation is tightly controlled to ensure it meets the specification of the ISO standard. This non-phosphate detergent powder is a completely homogeneous product, which ensures that batch to batch continuity is excellent, and promotes superior shelf life. Spray dried to ensure there is no risk of the product separating into its constituent parts, which removes the possibility of inconsistent results.

Treatment processes are the basis when it comes to demonstrating the maximum permanence of SDC standard reference detergents. Mixing in solution followed by spray drying gives us much better results than mixing dry powders with the added benefit of producing a fine powder that is easier to dissolve.
The homogeneous mixture produced by spray drying is maintained throughout the life of the detergent. Dry mix detergents of varying particle size may not give the correct formula when small amounts are measured. They are also likely to separate partially if they are subject to vibrations from the powder trays in washing machines.
Each SDC Detergent is subjected to rigorous tests by independent laboratories. Both chemical composition and performance are assessed.
